This latex is 4mm thick and gives an excellent grip to the ball in all kinds of weather. To give you the best possible ball control a Thumb Wrap is applied around the thumb. The Thumb Wrap gives an increased amount of latex and thereby increases the grip on the finger, which is mostly in contact with the ball. The glove is made with a Hybrid Cut, a cut that combines the Rollfinger and Regular Cut. The Rollfinger can be found on the pinkie and index finger, where the latex is rolled more around the fingers, so you get the largest possible area with latex and thereby a better control. On the long and ring finger the glove has a Regular Cut, which gives a comfortable fit and also offers a good support to the other fingers. So you actually get the best from both worlds with the Hybrid cut. To increase the comfort, PUMA has applied mesh material in between the fingers and by the thumb, this will increase the gloves breathability. The mesh material wicks the heat away from the glove and this is important, because a bad ventilating glove will never be comfortable to wear. Exceptional protection and flexibility The Future Grip 18.1 glove comes with a 3D-shaped backhand, which gives an excellent protection, due to it covers the entire backhand. It is also very flexible due to the cuts made and placed around the thumb and on the lowest part of the backhand. The closure is made with and elastic mesh bandage, with a full latex strap.
